What we collect
Reading the published research requires no account, and we collect no personal information to serve it. If you create an account we collect what you provide: email address, age confirmation, acceptance of legal terms, marketing preference, and support messages. When you subscribe, our payment processor collects your payment details directly and returns to us only a customer identifier, subscription status, plan, renewal date, and the last four digits and brand of your card. We never receive or store your full card number. We also collect essential security logs, sign-in link requests and the IP address they came from, device and browser information, pages viewed, and feature interactions.
How we use it
We use information to create and secure accounts, deliver requested forecasts, preserve consent and pick records, provide support, prevent abuse, improve the service, comply with law, and send marketing only when permitted. We do not sell personal information.
Email choices
Sign-in links and billing notices are transactional: we send them because you asked to sign in or because you hold a subscription, and they cannot be unsubscribed from while your account is open. Marketing updates are separate and optional. If you opt in, we send model updates and release notes; every such email identifies the sender and provides a working unsubscribe method. Unsubscribing from marketing does not cancel a subscription.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for signed-in session access, legal-policy acceptance, and communication preference. Stripe sets its own cookies on the checkout and billing pages it hosts, including for fraud prevention. The current product does not require advertising cookies. If analytics or advertising technologies are added, this policy and any required consent controls must be updated before activation.
Sharing and retention
Payments and subscription management are handled by Stripe, Inc., which acts as an independent controller of the payment data it collects and processes it under its own privacy policy. We use an email delivery provider to send sign-in links and service notices, and to retain addresses for updates you opted into. Account, subscription, and consent records are stored in a managed database operated by our hosting provider. We may share the minimum information needed with contracted hosting, authentication, payment, analytics, security, and email providers under appropriate agreements, or when legally required. We retain account and billing records only as long as needed for the purposes described, tax and accounting obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and enforcement.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. Requests can be sent to [email protected]. We will verify requests and respond as required by applicable law.
Security, children, and changes
We use reasonable safeguards but no system is perfectly secure. Pick-oriented and other market-related features are for adults 21 and older. The service is not directed to children. Material policy changes will be dated and communicated where required.
